Employment and Training Opportunities for Young People

The Department of Youth and Culture would like to advise the public that recruitment for the Youth EXPOSURE programme is now open, for the 2021 cohort. This programme targets young people who have successfully completed secondary or tertiary education and have been experiencing difficulties in securing employment due to the lack of prior experience in the workforce.

All interested applicants to the programme must fit the criteria listed below:

  1. Between the ages of 17 to 30
  2. Unemployed
  3. Actively seeking employment for one or more years
  4. Possess a minimum of 4 or more CSEC subject inclusive of English A, or up to tertiary education
  5. Must be an Anguillian or Belonger of Anguilla

Successful applicants will benefit from attachments at Government Departments or Statutory Bodies for a period of six months, while receiving a monthly stipend. Each client will also undergo training provided by the Anguilla Community College as well as personal and professional development in various areas. Successful young persons will commence their placements in early 2021.

Youth EXPOSURE forms can be collected from the Department of Youth and Culture from 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday).
